About the role n

Step into a fast-paced public sector environment and bring clarity to complex reporting. You’ll review a major client management system, validate existing Power BI outputs, and deliver crisp documentation and improvements that stakeholders can trust.

Key Responsibilities n

n
- Review historical system changes and confirm impact on reporting outputs
n
- Validate Power BI reports against business rules and requirements
n
- Map end-to-end data flows, calculations, integrations, and dependencies
n
- Identify reporting gaps, inconsistencies, and data quality risks
n
- Deliver clear documentation plus practical report improvements
n

Highly desirable criteria n

n
- Robust Power BI delivery in a government or regulated environment, with proven SQL capability and sharp stakeholder engagement.
n

Desirable criteria n

n
- Dimensional modelling knowledge (star/snowflake), UAT support (test plans, execution, sign-off), and confidence with sensitive datasets and privacy controls.
n

Skills and experience n

n
- Power BI, DAX, Power Query, SQL, Microsoft BI stack (SQL/SSIS/SSAS), requirements capture, workshop facilitation, documentation, and report validation.
