Davidson is partnering with a major Queensland Government infrastructure organisation to appoint experienced Project Directors to support the delivery of a significant transport infrastructure program on the Sunshine Coast.
n This is an opportunity to join a major, long-term program bringing together civil infrastructure, transport systems, operations, integration and program-wide governance .

The Opportunity n

We are seeking accomplished senior leaders who can provide strategic and tactical leadership across complex infrastructure projects, work packages or program functions.
n Importantly, this is not a search for one narrowly defined background. The program is looking for calibre first, then role fit , with the successful candidates' experience and strengths helping determine where they can add the greatest value.
n Potential areas of responsibility may include:

- Client-side project and infrastructure delivery

- Major civil infrastructure and work packages
n
- Alliance and collaborative delivery environments
n
- Program management, governance and assurance
n
- Operations, maintenance and operational readiness
n
- Commercial, contracts, procurement and program controls
n
- Technical, engineering and systems integration
n

What You’ll Do n

Depending on your eventual assignment, you will:

- Lead multidisciplinary teams, advisors, consultants and delivery partners
n
- Drive outcomes across scope, schedule, cost, quality, safety and risk
n
- Navigate complex project, contractual and stakeholder interfaces
n
- Provide strategic, commercial,



technical and delivery advice
n
- Establish effective governance, assurance and decision-making pathways
n
- Represent the organisation across negotiations and senior stakeholder forums
n
- Identify and resolve complex delivery, engineering, commercial and organisational issues
n
- Maintain a strong focus on accountability, value for money and successful project outcomes
n

About You n

You will bring senior leadership experience from complex, high-value infrastructure, transport, construction, engineering, operations or comparable major-program environments .
n Your background may be with government, a major infrastructure owner, consultancy, contractor or alliance environment.
n We are particularly interested in leaders who can operate confidently in ambiguity, bring together multiple disciplines and stakeholders, and translate complex program requirements into explicit decisions and delivery outcomes.
n Relevant tertiary qualifications and professional credentials will be highly regarded. Engineering qualifications and RPEQ registration may be required for some assignments , depending on the responsibilities of the position.
n A current White Card is required .

The Details n

Location: Sunshine Coast, Queensland, with flexible working arrangements and travel to project and stakeholder locations as required
Contract: 2 years, with potential for extension
Hours: Up to 38 hours per week
Positions: Two opportunities available
