n We are looking for a friendly and reliable Café Assistant to join our team for a temporary 4-month position over the busy Christmas and summer period.

n This role will be approximately 2-3 days per week (15-25 hours) , with the possibility of additional shifts throughout the week, particularly during periods of staff leave.
n
n We are a small, hardworking team and pride ourselves on maintaining a clean, hygienic and welcoming workplace. We're looking for someone who is reliable, honest, friendly and happy to jump in wherever needed.
Our Hours n
Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 4:00pm
n Saturday: 7:30am - 5:00pm
n Sunday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
About You n
n
- Previous coffee-making experience preferred
n
- Previous café, hospitality or customer service experience advantageous
n
- Understanding of workplace health and safety
n
- Reliable, honest and hardworking
n
- Friendly, positive and confident dealing with customers
n
- Comfortable working as part of a small team
n
Tasks & Responsibilities nn
- Serving customers and providing friendly, welcoming service
n
- Preparing coffee and other beverages
n
- Basic food preparation and handling
n
- Processing customer payments
n
- Taking booking calls and entering customer bookings
n
- Maintaining customer profiles
n
- Contacting customers when their vehicles are complete
n
- Communicating with staff in the wash bays
n
- Maintaining a clean and tidy café and customer area
n
- Following cleaning schedules and completing general cleaning duties
n
