Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data Analytics Lead Facilitator to support learners through an applied, career-focused data analytics learning experience. This is a remote, fixed-term, part-time role combining live online facilitation, learner mentoring, assignment feedback, and community engagement.

The role is expected to require approximately 4 to 6 hours per week on average, with additional time potentially required during assignment grading periods.

Requirements n

- Demonstrated professional experience working as a Data Analyst or in a closely related data analytics role.
n
- Strong practical understanding of data analytics concepts and the ability to explain technical ideas clearly to learners with varying levels of experience.
n
- Previous experience facilitating, teaching, coaching, training, or mentoring others.
n
- Demonstrated ability to provide constructive feedback that helps others improve their skills and understanding.
n
- Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence,



with the ability to support and engage a diverse learner community.
n
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, including the ability to balance live facilitation, learner support, and assignment marking.
n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills suitable for both online group facilitation and individual learner support.
n
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively with colleagues involved in delivery and learner support.
n
- A flexible, practical, and problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to changing learner needs and course dynamics.
n
- Confidence sharing real-world data analytics experience and practical industry examples in a learning environment.
n

Key Responsibilities nn
- Facilitate interactive live online group classes that bring data analytics concepts to life through practical examples and industry experience.
n
- Host regular online drop-in sessions focused on learner questions, practical applications, assignments, and areas where additional support is needed.
n
- Mark learner assignments and provide clear, constructive, and actionable feedback that supports continued development.
n
- Facilitate engaging discussions within the online learner community by answering content questions, sharing relevant resources, and providing real-world examples.
n
- Provide ad hoc one-to-one mentoring sessions to help learners work through challenges relating to course content and assignments.
n
- Participate in selected industry panel discussions, sharing practical experience and perspectives alongside other facilitators and subject matter experts.
n




- Set clear expectations with learners regarding workload, project timelines, available resources, and learning requirements.
n
- Monitor learner engagement and progress, identifying potential areas where additional support or intervention may be beneficial.
n
- Collaborate with relevant delivery and learner support colleagues to communicate progress, challenges, and areas requiring additional attention.
n
- Support approximately 20 to 50 assignment submissions per course and provide one-to-one support to learners where required.
