This is a hands-on role working in chilled and freezer environments, helping keep stock moving safely and orders ready for dispatch.

nAbout the role n

Your responsibilities will include:

n
- Operating forklifts to move, store and retrieve stock within our cold storage warehouse.
n
n
- Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently.
n
n
- Picking and preparing orders, checking products and quantities against paperwork.
n
n
- Maintaining stock rotation and assisting with stocktakes.
n
n
- Completing daily forklift pre-start checks and reporting faults or damage.
n
n
- Keeping work areas tidy, accessways transparent and stock stored securely.
n
n
- Following site safety,
food handling and hygiene procedures.
n
n
n
nAbout you n
n
We’re looking for someone who has:
n
n
n
n
- A current LF forklift licence and practical forklift operating experience.
n
n
- Previous experience in cold storage, warehousing or food distribution.
n
n
- Confidence working in chilled and freezer environments.
n
n
- Good attention to detail and clear communication skills.
n
n
- A reliable approach to attendance and a willingness to help the team.
n
n
- A strong focus on safety, particularly around pedestrians, racking and other mobile plant.
