Experienced Kitchen Hand/Food Prep Attendant

Fairmont Aged Care is a small residential aged care facility in Bexley with public transport and on-street parking. The facility caters for 44residents.

We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Hand (preferably experience in aged care)to assist the Head Cook in serving nutritional meals for our residents. Some cooking skills are required. You would work closely with the Catering team to ensure thedietary needs of residents are met. There will also be an chance for further education and promotion, depending on the requirements of the facility.

The position is Permanent Part-Time, 5-7 hours per day, 3 OR 4 days per week. Morning and afternoon shifts are available.

Criteria:

- Food Safety Training HLTFS207c & SITXFSA01
- Experience in serving meals in aged care
- Previous cooking skills are preferred
- Experience with stock control
- Police Check Clearance (can be arranged if not available)
