Job Description

Pick customer orders accurately according to pick slips, invoices, or electronic scanning systems.

Verify product quantities, descriptions, and conditions before packing.

n

Pack goods securely to prevent damage during transit.

n

Label packages correctly and prepare them for dispatch.

Inventory Management n

Assist with receiving, checking, and storing incoming stock.

n

Conduct regular stock counts and inventory checks.

n

Report stock discrepancies, damaged goods, or inventory shortages.

n

Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems.

Warehouse Operations n

Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.

n

Organize stock within designated warehouse locations.

n

Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe warehouse environment.

n

Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (where licensed and authorized).

n

Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.

Delivery Driver Duties Deliveries n

Transport products to job sites, suppliers, and other designated locations.

n

Plan delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service.

n

Load and secure goods to prevent movement or damage during transit.

Customer Service n

Provide professional, friendly, and courteous service to customers.

n

Address customer delivery inquiries and elevate issues where necessary.

n

Represent the company positively while on the road and at job sites.

Vehicle Maintenance n

Conduct daily vehicle inspections and safety checks.

n

Ensure delivery vehicles are kept clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained.

n

Report vehicle defects, accidents, or maintenance requirements promptly.

n

Comply with all road safety laws and company driving policies.





Safety and Compliance n

Follow all workplace health and safety regulations.

Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Adhere to safe manual handling practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications n

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and able to driver a manual vehicle.

Previous experience in warehouse operations, order picking, packing, or delivery driving.

n

Robust attention to detail and accuracy.

n

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

n

Basic numeracy and literacy skills.

n

Ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately.

n

Experience using warehouse management systems and barcode scanners.

n

Knowledge of inventory control processes.

n

Delivery driving experience.

Physical Requirements n

Ability to lift and carry items up to company-approved weight limits.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
