Captain Nemo's Pool Spa Marine is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Junior Sales Assistant to join our retail team on a full-time basis . Based in our Helensvale, Queensland location, this role is perfect for someone who is eager to develop their retail career whilst providing exceptional service to our valued customers. You will be at the heart of our business, supporting the sales process and ensuring every customer has a memorable experience when shopping with us.

What you'll be doing

Greeting customers with a warm and welcoming attitude, ensuring they feel valued from the moment they enter the store

Assisting customers with product selection by providing knowledgeable advice about pools, spas, and marine equipment

Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale systems

Maintaining product displays and ensuring the retail environment is clean, organised and visually appealing

Answering customer enquiries via phone, email and in-person with professionalism and courtesy

Supporting the wider team with stock management, including receiving, checking and shelving merchandise

Learning about product specifications and features to provide accurate information to customers

Identifying customer needs and suggesting appropriate products to enhance their purchase

Contributing to a positive team culture and supporting colleagues when needed

What we're looking for

Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse customers





A genuine interest in retail and a passion for delivering excellent customer service

Basic numeracy skills and comfort using electronic point-of-sale systems (training will be provided)

The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment

Reliability and a professional attitude with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities

Physical capability to handle stock, including lifting and moving items as required

A willingness to learn about pools, spas and marine products and develop product knowledge over time

Previous retail or customer service experience is desirable but not essential for the right candidate
