TerryWhite Chemmart Browns Plains is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and customer-focused Pharmacy Assistant to join our friendly and professional team.

This is a part-time opportunity with the potential to progress to full-time hours in the near future. We’re looking for an experienced pharmacy professional who enjoys working with customers, has a solid interest in retail and beauty products, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service.

About the Role

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you'll often be one of the first people our customers meet, helping create a welcoming and professional experience every day.

Working alongside our experienced pharmacy team, you'll assist customers with over-the-counter products, provide advice within your training and experience, and help maintain the high standards of service TerryWhite Chemmart is known for.

This position has a strong focus on retail pharmacy, beauty, skincare and customer service, making it ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers find the right products for their needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Delivering outstanding customer service and personalised assistance.

- Assisting customers with over-the-counter medicines within your training and experience.

- Referring customers to the Pharmacist when appropriate.

- Providing knowledgeable assistance across beauty, skincare and general pharmacy product ranges.





- Processing sales accurately using the point-of-sale system.

- Maintaining attractive, organised and well-presented retail displays.

- Assisting with merchandising, promotional displays and general retail activities.

- Supporting TerryWhite Chemmart health services and in-store initiatives.

- Working collaboratively with Pharmacists and the wider pharmacy team.

This is initially a part-time position, with the opportunity to increase to full-time hours as the needs of the pharmacy develop.

Some occasional weekend work will be required, with roster flexibility available for the right applicant.

About You

We're looking for an experienced Pharmacy Assistant who enjoys the variety of community pharmacy retail and has a genuine passion for helping customers.

Ideally, you will have:

- Previous experience working as a Pharmacy Assistant in a community pharmacy.

- Strong retail experience, including knowledge of beauty, skincare and general pharmacy products.

- Excellent customer service and communication skills.

- Confidence assisting customers with over-the-counter products within your training and experience.

- A genuine interest in beauty, skincare, health and wellbeing.

- Strong attention to detail and an eye for merchandising and presentation.

- A positive, proactive approach and the ability to work as part of a busy team.





- Good computer and point-of-sale skills.

- A Certificate II, III or IV in Community Pharmacy would be advantageous.
