KAT Earthmoving is seeking an experienced Excavator / Combo Operatorto join our team in Rockhampton, Queensland on a Casual basis. In this role, you will be responsible for the operation of various trucks and machinery on site, playing a crucial role in our team.
What you'll be doing n
n
- Safely and efficiently operating a range of construction equipment
n
- Undertaking general earthworks, including digging, loading, site preparation tasks and final trim
n
- Performing routine maintenance and pre-start checks on assigned machinery
n
- Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
n
- Maintaining detailed records of work completed and equipment usage
n
What we're looking for nn
- Experience operating within Civil & Rural environments
n
- Final trim operation of a range of plant and machinery, primarily excavators and skid steers
n
- Ability to load and unload machinery from trucks and trailers
n
- Construction Induction White Card & Relevant Machinery Tickets
n
- HR/HC License
n
- Experienced in the operation of a wide range of Excavator and Skid Steer attachments
n
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
n
- Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management
n
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
n
- Current Driver's license and own transport
n
- Initiative and be able to work without supervision
n
- Willingness to work as part of a team, and assist with other duties as and when required
n
- Physically fit
n
- Able to pass random drug and alcohol test
n
