About the client
n MAYDAY Recruitment is partnering with a well-established and highly regarded insurer seeking an experienced Claims Consultant to join their VIC Claims team on a temporary basis until the end of the year.
n This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced claims professional who can hit the ground running, manage a busy portfolio and provide high-quality service to customers throughout the claims process.
n Property claims experience is highly desirable, but most importantly, you’ll bring proven claims processing experience and the ability to work confidently in a rapid-paced environment.
What You'll Be Doing
n
n
- Processing and managing claims from notification through to resolution
n
- Assessing claim information and determining appropriate outcomes
n
- Liaising with customers, brokers, assessors, suppliers and other stakeholders
n
- Coordinating assessments, repairs and other claim requirements
n
- Maintaining accurate claim records and documentation
n
- Managing customer enquiries and providing regular updates
n
- Ensuring claims are processed efficiently and in line with relevant policies and procedures
n

What We're Looking For
n
n
- Previous claims processing experience – essential
n
- Experience managing claims within an insurance environment
n
- Property claims experience highly desirable
n
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
n
- Confident communication and stakeholder management skills
n
- Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise competing claims
n
- Experience using claims management systems and Microsoft Excel
n
- Ability to hit the ground running and work effectively
n
