About the Company
Our client is looking for an experienced Accounts & Payroll Officer to take ownership of their day-to-day accounts and payroll. Initially a six-month temporary assignment, there is an opportunity to move into a permanent role as the business reviews its finance processes and longer-term requirements.
- Part-time hours, ideally spread across 3-4 days

Responsibilities Include
- Process end-to-end fortnightly payroll for approximately 20-25 employees
- Manage superannuation and payroll administration
- Process Accounts Payable invoices and supplier payment runs
- Manage Accounts Receivable, customer receipts,
statements and debtor follow-up
- Complete bank and credit card reconciliations
- Monitor the accounts inbox and resolve queries
- Maintain accurate records in Xero and support general finance administration
- Assist with reviewing and documenting finance processes
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience across accounts and end-to-end payroll
- Solid Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and reconciliation experience
- Confidence working independently and taking ownership
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Explicit communication skills and a proactive approach
- Xero experience is advantageous but not essential
