Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will enjoy a broad and wide-ranging role encompassing management accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, payroll, compliance, and business partnering responsibilities. Your new role n

As a key member of the finance function, you will provide accurate financial reporting, analysis and guidance to support informed decision-making across the organisation. This role offers a balance of operational and strategic responsibilities, making it ideal for a finance professional who enjoys variety and stakeholder engagement.Key responsibilities include:

- Preparing monthly management reports, financial dashboards and variance analysis
n
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
n
- Managing month-end activities, including accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
n
- Processing fortnightly payroll and overseeing statutory reporting requirements
n
- Preparing BAS, payroll tax and other compliance obligations
n




- Monitoring cash flow and daily banking activities
n
- Maintaining fixed asset registers and supporting capital expenditure reporting
n
- Assisting with audit preparation and driving continuous improvement initiatives
n
- Partnering with budget holders to provide financial insights and commercial support
n

What you'll need to succeed n

To be successful, you will be a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional with strong technical accounting skills and the ability to build effective relationships across the organisation.You will bring:

- Degree qualifications in Finance, Accounting or Commerce
n
- Previous experience in management accounting, financial reporting and budgeting
n
- Strong payroll processing and compliance knowledge
n
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP or finance systems
n
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving capabilities
n
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
n
- A hands-on approach and the ability to manage competing priorities
n
