Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to coordinate day-to-day construction activities on-site. You will lead subcontractors and trades to help ensure the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. This is a project-based role, with potential for ongoing work across future projects.

Key responsibilities n

Coordinate on-site construction activities, subcontractors, suppliers and trades.

n

Monitor progress against the programme and report delays or risks.

n

Manage site logistics, deliveries, materials and equipment.

n

Ensure compliance with WHS requirements and site safety plans.

n

Lead pre-start meetings and toolbox talks, and coordinate site inductions.

n

Conduct safety inspections and assist with incident investigations.

n

Ensure work meets drawings, specifications and quality standards.

n

Maintain site records, safety logs and QA documentation.

n

Report site issues,



risks and variations to the project team.

Requirements n

Proven experience in construction site management or supervision.

n

Robust understanding of construction methods and sequencing.

n

Knowledge of WHS legislation and site safety systems.

n

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

n

Strong leadership, communication and coordination skills.

n

First Aid and White Card, or equivalent safety certification.

n

Trade qualification in construction or a related field (desirable).

n

Experience with commercial construction projects (desirable).

n

Experience using construction management software (desirable).

n

Relevant plant and equipment tickets or licences, such as EWP or telehandler, where applicable (desirable).
