About the Role n

As a Casual Chef with Navarra, you will work across weddings, corporate functions, celebrations and other large-scale events.

n

You will be responsible for preparing and presenting food to a high standard while working as part of a fast-paced kitchen team.

n

The role may include:

n

n
- Food preparation and cooking for events and functions
n
- Working across different sections of the kitchen
n
- Following menus, recipes and food presentation standards
n
- Maintaining high standards of food quality and consistency
n
- Following food safety, hygiene and WHS requirements
n
- Assisting with kitchen setup,



service and pack-down
n
- Working effectively as part of a busy kitchen brigade
n
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment
n

To Be Successful, You Must: nn
- Be currently based in Sydney
n
- Have valid working rights in Australia
n
- Have previous commercial kitchen / chef experience
n
- Be confident working in a fast-paced events or hospitality environment
n
- Be available to work weekends
n
- Have a strong understanding of food safety and hygiene
n
- Be reliable, punctual and skilled
n
- Be able to work effectively under pressure
n
- Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
n
- Be available for longer shifts and peak-period work
n
