We are recruiting for a long-established accounting and advisory firm with a strong presence across Queensland, known for its client-focused approach and supportive workplace culture. With multiple offices providing business advisory, audit, SMSF, tax and wealth management services, this firm offers a collaborative setting where your expertise will be valued, developed and rewarded.

The Role: n

n
- Manage a diverse portfolio of clients across industries including construction, primary production, professional services and retail
n
- Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and high-net-worth individuals
n
- Manage tax compliance, BAS and related business services work while providing practical guidance on complex accounting and tax matters
n
- Work closely with managers and partners on business advisory, tax planning and client-focused projects
n
- Build strong relationships with clients and provide commercially focused accounting and taxation advice
n
- Mentor and support junior and intermediate accountants,



reviewing work and sharing your technical knowledge
n

About You: nn
- Minimum 5 years' Australian public practice experience across Business Services and Tax
n
- Strong technical knowledge of Australian accounting and taxation across a variety of entity types
n
- Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns and compliance work
n
- Proficient in MYOB AE, Xero and related accounting software
n
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
n
- Self-motivated, proactive and keen to contribute to team development and client outcomes
n
