O'Brien Body & Paint Gatton Pty Ltd are currently seeking a trade qualified Panel Beater for a fulltime/permanent position to join our team in Gatton, QLD Australia (1 hr West of Brisbane, 20 minutes from Toowoomba).

n

O'Brien Body & Paint is a reputable and well-known business within the Smash repairs Industry and local area servicing most of the major insurance companies including RACQ, SUNCORP, AAMI, BUDGET, YOUI and private customers.

n

The successful applicant should have experience with the following:

n

n
- Identify repairs on a range of vehicles
n
- Replace damaged sections with recent or second hand panels
n
- Repair damaged vehicles with specialist tools and equipment
n
- Preparing vehicles for painting
n




- Correctly and consistently stripping and refitting vehicles
n
- Basic cleaning and tending to your work bay and workshop
n

n

Candidates must hold a trade certificate or have 3 years' relevant industry experience in lieu of a qualification.

n

Skills and experience:

- Ability to confidently use specialist tools & equipment (Car-O-Liner etc)
n
- High attention to detail
n
- Current driver's license
n
- Possess a positive and mature attitude
n
- Well-presented and reliable
n
- Work as part of a team
n
- Ability to work unsupervised

This role is based in Gatton, QLD 4343: Applicants must reliably commute or be planning to relocate before starting work.

n

A salary of $79,000 - $84,000 will be offered to the successful candidate.
