Drawing / Drafting Designer – Steel & Metal Fabrication n
All Safe Metal Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Draftsperson to join our metal fabrication team in Padstow, Sydney. This is an in office position involving steel structures, staircases, balustrades, handrails and custom metalwork.
Key responsibilities n
n
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting and design software
n
- Read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications and site measurements
n
- Liaise with the workshop team and project manager to ensure drawings meet fabrication and installation requirements
n
- Update drawings and manage revisions
n
- Assist with site measurements when required
n
About you nn
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting and design software
n
- Experience preparing shop drawings for steel fabrication, staircases or balustrades is preferred
n
- Ability to communicate in both Mandarin and English is essential, as the role involves working with Mandarin-speaking workshop staff
n
- Strong attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills
