Position: Agriculture Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $72–$80/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 20 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

n

n
- Author and review technical tasks to evaluate AI model performance on agricultural sciences problems.
n
- Produce original problem sets grounded in crop figures, soil profiles, yield charts, and field imagery.
n
- Write reference solutions and apply structured quality checks to ensure accuracy.
n
- Collaborate with AI research teams to improve training data quality and performance.
n
- Work independently and asynchronously with a versatile schedule.
n

Qualifications

n

Must-Have

n

n
- PhD in Agricultural Sciences or related field, or MS with 3+ years applied research, extension, or industry experience,



or BS with 5+ years applied farming, extension, or agribusiness experience.
n
- Working fluency in at least two of: agronomy, soil science, animal science, agricultural economics, plant pathology.
n
- Comfortable reading and interpreting crop figures, soil profiles, yield charts, and field imagery.
n
- Clear technical writing; able to articulate reasoning step-by-step in written form.
n
