Our Riverina team is recruiting a full-time permanent Butcher. This is a unique opportunity to join a global organisation with a local community feel. The annual salary for this role is from $96,400 to $110,000 plus superannuation.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to: n
n
- Boning out raw materials; e.g.
n
- (70% of work) Trimming
n
- Fat off product – different specs
n
- Frenching / bird caging
n
- Hand Portioning
n
- Prepping product then splitting in half i.e. spare ribs
n
- Bandsaw Operation
n
About You nn
- Previous experience (ideally 2-3 years) and current working in the JBS team is preferrable
n
- Proven high level of knife sharpening skills
n
- Knowledge and understanding of Quality Requirements
n
- Ability to work within a team environment with the ability to take directionDemonstrated integrity and good presentation
n
- A professional work attitude
n
- Ability to work in a fast paced workplace
n
- High Focus and attention to detail
