The firm provides a comprehensive suite of services, including audit, tax, accounting and business advisory, to a wide range of clients from privately owned businesses and high net wealth individuals to ASX‑listed entities and not‑for‑profits.

As a Senior Accountant in the Business Advisory division, you’ll work closely with Managers, Senior Managers and Partners to deliver high‑quality accounting, tax and advisory services to a diverse client portfolio. You’ll take ownership of compliance and advisory engagements, build robust client relationships and play a key role in mentoring and supporting junior team members.

The Role:

Prepare and review tax returns, financial statements (general and special purpose), management reports and work papers
n

Deliver accounting, taxation and business advisory services in line with professional standards
n

n

Support and mentor junior accountants to ensure accuracy and timely delivery
n
n
n
n
n
n

Build strong, trusted client and internal stakeholder relationships
n

n
n
n

Assist with workflow management, WIP, billing and productivity targets
n

n
n
n
n

n
Identify opportunities for additional services and referrals across the network

Contribute to process improvements, team initiatives and business development activities

About You:
n
n
n
n

A degree in Accounting, Commerce or Business
n
n
n
n
n
n

n
CA or CPA qualification
n
n
n
n
n
n

n
4+ years’ experience in public practice, including exposure to accounting and tax compliance
n
n
n
n
n
n

n
Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and taxation principles
n
n
n
n
n
n

n
Experience using accounting and cloud‑based software (e.g. Xero, MYOB, Reckon)
n
n
n
n
n
n

n
Excellent communication skills and a proactive, client‑focused mindset
n
n
n
n
n
n

A desire to mentor others and drive your professional development
