nThe Opportunity n
n

Lead safety performance for a solar and battery energy development near Woodstock. Working closely with project leadership, you will guide teams and contractors through high-risk activities and build consistent safety practice on site. Local opportunities and FIFO arrangements from Queensland home ports to Townsville are available.

nYour Responsibilities n

- Establish and oversee project health and safety systems.
n
n
- Provide practical guidance on risk controls, contractor activities and statutory compliance.
n
n
- Check WHS obligations and relevant rail safety requirements where applicable.
n
n
- Lead investigations, audits and performance reporting and turn findings into improvements.
n
n
- Build effective working relationships with regulators, clients and project stakeholders.
n
n
- Influence leaders and delivery teams to maintain a strong safety culture.
n
n

nRequirementsSkills,



Education And Requirements n
n

n
n
- Tertiary or diploma qualification in workplace health and safety or a related discipline.
n
n
- At least ten years in construction, infrastructure, energy or renewable-sector safety roles.
n
n
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, risk management and ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 systems.
n
n
- Experience in contractor management, audits and incident investigations.
n
n
- Credible leadership and communication that influences people at all levels.
n
n
