Randwick City Council is an innovative and progressive Council committed to serving our vibrant community on the eastern beaches of Sydney. Our Financial Services Department is seeking a temporary Senior Revenue Officer.

Purpose: n

Play a key role in delivering accurate rating, billing and debt recovery services while supporting Council's financial operations and compliance requirements. Join a collaborative team committed to exceptional customer service and making a positive difference in the community.

About the role: n

Process and reconcile Council income, manage banking activities, and support the accurate maintenance of financial records and systems.

Provide high-quality customer service and advice to residents, businesses and internal stakeholders on rates, debtors, licensing and revenue-related matters.

Support rating functions, property transactions, refunds and debt recovery activities to ensure timely collection of Council revenue.

About you: n

You will bring relevant qualifications in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience in an accounting role, along with robust attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

n

You will also have well-developed customer service skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to achieve team and organisational goals.

n

You will be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, with the ability to efficiently manage data and financial information.
