Undergraduate Accountant (Construction Industry) n

This role provides exposure to project costing, management reporting, payroll support, financial analysis and month‑end accounting processes.

Key responsibilities n
n
- Assist with month‑end accounting activities, including journals, accruals and reconciliations
n
- Support the preparation of monthly management and financial reports
n
- Assist with project costing, budgeting and cost tracking across construction projects
n
- Analyse project performance and provide financial insights to management
n
- Prepare and reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts
n
- Assist with payroll processing and payroll reconciliations as required
n
- Support the preparation of BAS, Payroll Tax, TPAR and other statutory reporting obligations
n
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting documentation
n
- Contribute to the development and improvement of financial processes and reporting systems
n
- Provide general accounting and administrative support to the Finance and Management team
n
About you nn
- Current enrolment in a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or a related discipline
n
- Completion of at least your first year of university studies preferred
n
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
