Our client is asset heavy and an integral part of Queensland. They are looking for a technical reporting specialist to contribute to streamlining and adding sophistication to the reporting pack.
About the Role n
You will get to take charge of disclosures, position papers and other year end requirements.
Key Responsibilities n
n
- Assist with regulatory reporting obligations, liaising with internal/external auditors and supporting audit readiness
n
- Analyse and interpret accounting standards, advising on new requirements and their impact on financial reporting
n
- Review complex reconciliations, journals, and support the month-end close process with a high level of accuracy
n
- Contribute to acquisition accounting and year end obligations around acquisitions
n
- Drive process improvements, knowledge sharing, and mentor junior staff members
n
About You n
You will be CA/ CPA qualified, have had experience in a Big 4/ Mid-Tier firm, good understanding of complex accounting standards and have proven stakeholder engagement skills. Experience using large ERP and high Excel proficiency a must.
