Job Description

D&C; Nursing Care Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Personal Care Assistant to join our team in Dandenong, Victoria . This is a casual role, offering the flexibility to work around your schedule. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, compassionate care to our elderly and disabled clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.

What you'll be doing n

n
- Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
n
- Providing support with daily living activities, including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders
n
- Facilitating social and recreational activities to enhance the wellbeing of our clients
n
- Monitoring clients' health and reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical professionals
n
- Maintaining detailed client records and documentation
n
- Adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols and company policies
n

What we're looking for nn
- A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification in aged care or disability services
n
- Second language such as Gujarati or other language would be great but not essential
n
- Previous experience working as a Personal Care Assistant or in a similar role, preferably in a community or home-based setting which knows predominately with domestic assistance and community transportation ( Highly desirable )
n




- Working experience in residential care home
n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and their families
n
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to care
n
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
n
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
n
- Current First Aid and CPR certification & manual handling
n
- A valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation ( A must)
n

Weekend and weekday immediate availability will be highly desirable
