About the Role n
nWe are currently seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer for a client-side opportunity with a major resources company. You will support the project through the design phase and into construction.n

nDuring the design phase (for the next 1-2 years) you will work from the office with ad-hoc site visits to the mine site. Following which you will be onsite full time during construction. n
nGiven the transition from office to site-based, candidates must currently live SOR or be willing to relocate.n
n n
Office location: South of the River (Perth)n
Project location: ~100km+ south of Perth CBDn
n n
nThis will be offered on an initial 12 month contract, they have a large amount of work and will expect ongoing contract extensions.n
n n
About You n
nYou’ll be degree-qualified in Civil Engineering with strong experience in mining/resources or heavy industrial projects.n
n
n
- Design management / design experience
n
- Mining / resources project exposure
n
- Bulk earthworks design and construction
n
- Road design and construction (particularly haul roads )
n
- Drainage design (in particular surface drainage and sump design)
n
- Practical construction / site-based experience
n
- Strong communication and organisational skills
n
