An opportunity has become available for trades assistants to join our growing team.

n

We have a few roles currently available in HYDRAULIC fitting.

n

These are permanent full time positions with an immediate start available.

General Responsibilities across the roles: n

n
- Use of forklift,
n
- Maintain work areas and equipment,
n
- Assisting with the stages of product preparation & assembly,
n
- Working with hydraulics - maintenance, servicing, assembly and testing,
n
- Operate, maintain and work safely with hand tools,



small plant and equipment as instructed by supervisor,
n
- Assisting with paint preparation & scraping,
n
- Setting up, adjusting and operating the bandsaw, bevelling machine, drill press, guillotine, linisher or cropper,
n
- Spare parts and product packaging and preparation for freight,
n
- Follow directions given by Foreman, Area Supervisor and QA.
n

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities nn
- Able to work on foot for extended periods of time,
n
- Forklift licence mandatory,
n
- Reliable and strong work ethic,
n
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment,
n
- Capable of lifting 20 kg unassisted,
n
- Acceptable knowledge of safety, health and quality principles,
n
- Manual Handling techniques,
n
- Sound communication aptitude in delivering beneficial teamwork.
n

Experience can be gained on the job. Apprenticeships can be undertaken by dedicated and willing staff.
