AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN - Glory EV Group | BYD Cranbourne Service Centre n

Glory EV Group is seeking qualified Automotive Technicians to join our growing aftersales team at our BYD Cranbourne Service Centres .

This role is ideal for technicians who are passionate about the future of electric vehicles and want to work with one of the fastest-growing EV brands in Australia. Previous experience in an automotive workshop is essential, and EV experience will be highly regarded.

You will play a key role in maintaining vehicle quality, diagnosing issues, and delivering high-standard service outcomes for our customers.

You will play a key role in maintaining vehicle quality, diagnosing issues, and delivering high-standard service outcomes for our customers.

Key Responsibilities n

n
- Carry out scheduled servicing, maintenance, and repairs on BYD vehicles
n
- Perform diagnostics using manufacturer-approved tools and systems
n




- Accurately complete Repair Orders (ROs) and service documentation
n
- Conduct vehicle inspections and report any additional work required
n
- Work closely with Service Advisors and Parts team to ensure efficiency
n
- Follow BYD repair procedures and safety standards
n
- Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment
n
- Ensure all work is completed within allocated timeframes
n

Requirements nn
- Previous experience as an Automotive Technician (dealership preferred)
n
- Relevant automotive trade qualification (Certificate III or equivalent)
n
- Experience with diagnostics and fault finding
n
- EV or Hybrid experience (highly regarded but not essential)
n
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
n
- Ability to work in a fast-paced workshop environment
n
- Valid Australian Driver’s License
n
- Full Australian working rights
n
