We are urgently seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer (Mechanical) for a 4 month contract supporting delivery on the Alkimos Desalination Plant project. This is a site-based opportunity for a capable mechanical project engineer with strong fabrication and SMP package delivery experience who can quickly add value in a quick-moving project environment.n
About the role n
n
- Support mechanical package delivery across fabrication, SMP works and site execution.
n
- Coordinate contractors, suppliers and project stakeholders to maintain safe, efficient progress.
n
- Review technical documentation, manage queries and help drive quality, completions and handover outcomes.
n
- Work 11 hour days, Monday to Friday, on a circa $100/hr + super contract rate.

About you n
n
- Strong fabrication and SMP package delivery experience.
n
- Previous Tier 1 contractor experience will be highly regarded.
n
- Experience on major infrastructure or industrial construction projects is preferred.
n
- Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering degree with the confidence to work autonomously and solve site-based delivery challenges.
n
- Ideally based in Perth’s northern suburbs to support a reasonable commute and fatigue management requirements.
n
- Existing Australian work rights are essential
