Full-time HC Driver required for QLD Transport Company.

Day shift work with early starts, Monday to Friday.

BCC Transport has two main services:

n
n

Delivering precast concrete panels into building sites in the greater Brisbane area.

n
n

Delivering non-DG bulk liquid chemicals into concrete plants throughout QLD & Northern NSW.

n
n

We are looking for a reliable and motivated full-time driver with a solid customer focus and good work ethic. A variety of work is on offer ranging from local deliveries to overnight intrastate work. Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.

n

This is more than a driving role, as you will be intimately involved in the loading and unloading of freight on a daily basis.

n
n

The role is based out of our depot in Darra QLD.

n
n

Immediate start is available for the right applicant, along with upskilling and career progression.

nTasks and responsibilities: n
n

n
n
- Single & Multi-Drop Deliveries
n
n
- Loading and unloading of precast concrete panels via crane (by others)
n
n
- Loading and unloading of non-DG bulk liquid chemicals via pumps
n
n
- Experience in heavy haulage, including the use of dogs and chains, is preferred but not essential
n
n
- Ensuring neat and cleanpresentationof vehicle and yourself
n
n
- Completion of minimalpaperwork, predominately via electronic tablet
n
n

n




nSuccessful candidates will have: n
n

n
n
- HC Licence (Current Driving Record required)
n
n
- Minimum 1-2 years of HC truck driving experience
n
n
- High level of attention to detail
n
n
- Ability to think on the run and work in a team environment
n
n
- Ability to reliably work autonomously after initial training
n
n
- Experience adhering to WHS and other operational procedures
n
n
- References from previous employers (names/contact details of referees)
n
n
- Forklift Licence (desirable but not essential)
n
n

n

- Welding experience
n
n
- Truck and trailer repairs and maintenance
n
n

nSuccessful candidates are required to: n

- Complete and pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening

- Complete National Police Check
