We are seeking experienced hedge fund professionals to support a high-impact research initiative with a leading AI lab focused on training advanced foundational models. In this role, you will apply your expertise in long/short equity investing to evaluate and enhance financial reasoning content, helping improve how AI systems analyze public markets, company performance, and investment opportunities.

This role is ideal for candidates with strong analytical depth, investment judgment, and experience in equity research and portfolio analysis.

What You’ll Do

n

- Review and assess financial and investment-related content, including equity research, models, and market analyses
n
- Contribute to the development and refinement of high-quality analytical materials
n
- Apply long/short equity frameworks to evaluate valuation, earnings performance, and market positioning
n
- Provide structured, actionable feedback to improve clarity, rigor, and accuracy
n
- Support tasks involving earnings forecasting, investment memos, and research summaries
n

Who You Are

n

n
- Minimum 2+ years of experience at a hedge fund, with exposure to long/short equity strategies
n




- Hands-on experience in at least one of the following:
n n
- Financial modeling
n
- Market sizing / Total Addressable Market (TAM) analysis
n
- Investment research, summaries, and memos
n
- Earnings forecasting and analysis
n
n
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
n
- Excellent written communication with high attention to detail
n

Engagement Details

n

- Minimum commitment of 10 hours per week
n
- Initial engagement of at least 4 weeks, starting in October
n
- Potential for extension or rotation into similar future projects based on performance
n
- Fully remote, flexible, and self-paced work environment
n

Compensation

- $200 per hour, with potential increases for top performers
n
- Weekly payments via supported global payment platforms
n
