nSalary range: $79,500 - $85,000 per year, depending on skill level + Superannuation. Overtime and Penalty Rates are also available. n

nAbout This Role: n
nThe ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans and organisational policies. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the EN ensures the physical, emotional, and social well-being of elderly residents while maintaining a safe and supportive environment. n
n
nKey Responsibilities include: n
n• Assist in the assessment, planning, and implementation of resident care under RN supervision. n
n• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following facility protocols. n
n• Monitor and document residents’ health status, reporting changes to the RN. n
n• Assist with wound care, catheter management, and other clinical interventions. n
n• Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, mobility, and feeding. n
n• Foster a person-centred approach, respecting residents’ dignity and preferences. n
n• Engage residents in social and recreational activities to enhance quality of life. n
n• Provide emotional support to residents and their families. n
n• Adhere to infection control, WHS, and aged care quality standards. n
n• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in care records. n
n• Follow facility policies,



procedures, and regulatory requirements. n
n• Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team (RNs, carers, allied health). n
n• Participate in handovers, staff meetings, and training sessions. n
n• Mentor and support less experienced care staff as needed. n
n
nQualifications & Requirements: n
n
nEssential: n
n• Diploma of Nursing (or equivalent) with current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse. n
n• At least 1 year experience in aged care, dementia care, or a similar setting (preferred). n
n• Strong clinical skills, including medication administration and chronic disease management. n
n• Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and person-centred care. n
n• Current First Aid & CPR certification. n
n• National Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening required. n
n• Must comply with having annual flu vaccination and be fully immunised against COVID-19. n
n
nDesirable: n
n• Experience with palliative care and complex health needs. n
n• Knowledge of electronic health records (e.g., iCare, MHR). n
