Hybrid finance contract Company Background n

Our client is a large global public transport and mobility organisation operating across multiple countries. They are seeking a hands-on Financial Accountant / Management Accountant to support the finance team on a 5-7 month leave-cover contract.

You’ll be stepping into an established environment with templates and processes already in place, plus a handover period to set you up for success. The role also supports key deliverables across the December year-end.

The Role n

Reporting into the Finance Manager, this role will focus on:

n

n
- Balance sheet reconciliations for allocated accounts
n
- Month-end accruals, including cost accruals
n
- Supporting a special maintenance division, including preparation of P&Ls;
n




- Project-related costing summaries and reporting
n
- Liaising with operational stakeholders (non-finance to gather and validate inputs)
n

Your Background n

To be considered for this Commercial Accountant role, you will have the following skills and attributes:

n

n
- Immediately available with full time working rights (short notice periods can also be considered for the right candidate)
n
- Working Holiday Visa (WHV – subclass 417) holders are welcome to apply
n
- Strong and confident communication skills
n
- Proven, hands‑on experience in a Financial Accountant or Management Accountant role
n
- Intermediate Excel skills (v/x look‑ups, pivot tables)
n
