About the Role n

As a Commis Chef, you will support the kitchen team in delivering high-quality food and service while maintaining exceptional food safety and presentation standards. You will gain exposure to a variety of kitchen operations and play an important role in ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities n

n




- Assist with the preparation and service of breakfast, restaurant, room service, and event menus
n
- Ensure food is prepared and presented to company standards
n
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment
n
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and WHS procedures at all times
n
- Assist with stock rotation, storage, and inventory control
n
- Work collaboratively with chefs and front-of-house teams
n
- Support the kitchen during busy service periods
n
- Contribute ideas for menu development and operational improvements
n

About You n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- A genuine passion for food and hospitality
n
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or currently undertaking)
n
- Previous kitchen experience preferred but not essential
n
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
n
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
n
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
n
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
n
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements
n
