The Opportunity n

An opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to join the commercial team on a major new residential development on Sydney’s Lower North Shore.

The Role n

Your responsibilities will include:

- Taking ownership of major subcontractor and supplier packages
n
- Managing procurement, tender analysis, negotiations and subcontract awards
n
- Preparing and administering subcontract agreements
n
- Managing variations, progress claims, payment schedules and contractual correspondence
n
- Preparing detailed monthly cost reports, forecasts and cash flow projections
n
- Monitoring project expenditure against budget and identifying commercial risks
n
- Managing contractual obligations and ensuring appropriate project records are maintained
n
- Working closely with the Project Manager on overall project commercial performance
n
- Liaising with consultants, subcontractors and the site team to resolve commercial and contractual matters
n
- Supporting and mentoring junior Contract Administrators where required
n
- Managing final accounts and commercial close-out of packages
n
- Utilising Jobpac for project cost management, reporting and contract administration
n

About You nn




- 8+ years’ Contract Administration experience within the construction industry
n
- Extensive experience working on large-scale construction projects
n
- High-rise residential or major mixed-use experience is highly desirable
n
- Jobpac experience is essential
n
- Strong understanding of head contracts and subcontract administration
n
- Demonstrated experience managing major procurement packages
n
- Excellent knowledge of variations, claims, forecasting and project cost control
n
- Strong commercial and contractual acumen
n
- Confident communicator with excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
n
- Degree qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
n
