We are currently looking for a fitter and turner apprenticeto join the team at Mount Kuring-gai.

Working with qualified and skilledengineersyou will gain valuable hands on experience, mentoring and support.

Duties will involve: n

- Performing engineering measurements
n
- Apply welding principles
n
- Use workshop machines for basic operations
n
- Carry out mechanical cutting
n
- Apply principles of occupational health and safety in the work setting
n

The successful candidate will: nn
- Be able to undertake manual/physical work
n
- Motivated with a genuine interest in thefabricationindustry
n
- Be trustworthy and reliable
n
- Have a high level of attention to detail
n

Suitable applicants must have a genuine interest in pursuing fabrication as a career path, be motivated and willing to work hard to get trade qualified.

The successful candidate will undergoCertificate III in Engineering.

n

To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.
