About the role:

You’ll be hands-on across awide range of civil assets, including:

- Roads, footpaths, drainage, carparks, foreshore assets, andwaste facilities
- Routine construction, reconstruction, and maintenanceactivities

You’ll also:

- Primarily operate prime movers and six wheel trucks
- Operate a variety of plant and equipment depending onexperience and operational needs (e.g. graders, loaders,rollers, chainsaws, commercial vehicles)
- Perform daily checks,



cleaning, and secure storage ofequipment
- Assist with planning, resource organisation, and teamtraining
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safetyand operational procedures

What you’ll bring to the role:

The ideal candidate will align with the City’sValues and be able to demonstrate the belowcompetencies:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of civil construction and plantoperation
- Sound working knowledge of lifting equipment includingslings, chains and wire ropes.
- HC Class Driver’s Licence
- Basic Traffic Management and Traffic Controlcertification
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive, safety-first attitude

Pre-employment requirements:

- National Police Clearance (less than six months old)
- Proof of right to work in Australia
- Pre-employment medical (arranged and paid for by theCity)
- White Card
