About the Role
n As the Geospatial Information Officer, you will support the ongoing development, administration, and optimisation of enterprise GIS platforms while delivering high-quality spatial analysis, mapping, and asset data services. You will work closely with operational teams to ensure spatial and asset information is accurate, accessible, and aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Provide GIS application support and troubleshooting for internal users.
n
- Maintain and enhance corporate spatial datasets and databases.
n
- Perform spatial analysis, cartography, data capture, and reporting.
n
- Support asset management functions through asset data collection, validation, and integration.
n
- Create high-quality maps, dashboards, and spatial outputs for operational and strategic purposes.
n
- Assist with cadastral database maintenance and quality assurance activities.
n
- Develop user guides and deliver training to GIS users across the organisation.
n
- Manage GIS data requests and support enterprise GIS initiatives.
n

About You




n You will be a hands-on GIS qualified with strong technical capability and a customer-focused approach.

n

Essential Skills & Experience

n

n
- Tertiary qualifications in GIS, Geospatial Science or a related discipline.
n
- Proven experience working with GIS and Asset Management systems.
n
- Strong proficiency with: n n
- ArcGIS Pro
n
- QGIS
n
- AutoCAD Map 3D
n
- FME
n
- Intramaps
n

n
- Knowledge of spatial databases and spatial data management principles.
n
- Experience performing spatial analysis, reporting, and map production.
n
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
n
- Current Victorian Driver's Licence.
n

n

Desirable

n

n
- Experience within Government.
n
- Experience managing digital cadastral datasets.
n
- Exposure to asset management systems and processes
n
