About the Role

Seven Mile Bar and Bistro is a well-established local venue in Balcatta, offering a welcoming sports bar, bistro dining, and a vibrant community atmosphere. We are seeking an experienced and driven Venue Manager to oversee daily operations, lead our team, and drive the continued success and growth of the venue.

This is a hands-on leadership role for a passionate hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, delivers exceptional guest experiences, and contributes to the strategic direction of the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee all daily venue operations, including staffing, inventory, and financial management
- Ensure exceptional customer service and a positive guest experience
- Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to drive venue traffic and revenue
- Manage and lead a team of venue staff, including bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff
- Ensure compliance with all relevant liquor licensing, TAB, health, and safety regulations
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance overall venue efficiency
- Actively participate in the overall strategic direction and growth of the Seven Mile Bar and Bistro





Skills & Experience Required

- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a venue management role within the hospitality industry
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Strong financial acumen and experience in managing venue budgets and KPIs
- Proven track record in driving sales and implementing successful marketing strategies
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere
- Working knowledge of liquor licensing, health, and safety regulations
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Passion for the hospitality industry and the Seven Mile brand
- Must be able to pass a National Police Check and have the right to work in Australia
- Experience with POS systems and venue management software (e.g., H&L;, Nowbookit, Tanda)
- Demonstrated experience in stock control and inventory management systems
- Must hold a current Western Australian Approved Manager’s Certificate (MLO)
