Responsibilities n

- Inspect product for any quality issues that could affect the final appearance of the paint process.
n
- Prepare parts for painting through inspection, surface prep., and surface cleaning with wax and grease remover.
n
- Mix coatings with reducer and catalyst at correct mixtures, using color mixture equipment
n
- Consistently apply primers/topcoat with gravity fed or pressure fed spray equipment
n
- Apply all coats with spray equipment to meet coverage and gloss standards
n
- Read and record dry paint thickness using a Mil Reader.
n
- Must have the ability to correct errors in applications.
n
- Maintain spray equipment to meet operational standards.
n
- Maintain paint booth cleanliness and filter changes.
n
- Ensure that any hazardous waste is handled and disposed of properly.
n
- Know spill response procedures and evacuation plan.
n
- Must keep the work area secure and clean to 5S standards.
n
