Ballarat Plumbing is growing, and we're putting on a Drainage Manager to run our whole below-ground department.

Who we are n

Ballarat Plumbing is a locally owned plumbing business based in Napoleons, working across Ballarat and surrounds. We're a team of around 14 and growing, split into above-ground and below-ground departments, plus a maintenance arm.

What we do n

- New-home plumbing for volume builders: sewer and stormwater drainage, rough-in and fit-off
n
- Plumbing maintenance
n
- Jetting and CCTV drain inspections
n
- Pipe relining
n
- Water main renewals
n

About the role n

We run two drain crews now, and we need one person in charge of all of it.

What you'll do n

n
- Run the below-ground department day to day
n
- Order materials to the shed and rock to site, so the crews have everything ready
n
- Audit every drain once it's ready for test, and audit every slab check
n
- Book drainage tests and inspections,



mark up drainage measurements, and chase compliance paperwork
n
- Book in and close out repairs
n
- Manage the jetter, CCTV and relining jobs
n
- Be the go-to for builder site supervisors
n
- Jump on the machine and lead a crew when required
n
- Train our drainers and apprentices
n

What you'll bring nn
- Registered drainer with recent-home sewer and stormwater experience
n
- Experience leading a drainage crew
n
- Confident on an excavator
n
- Organised, and good with job software (we use simPRO)
n
- Able to back yourself with builders and hold the standard
n
- Truck licence a bonus
n
