Job Description

ModuSpec is seeking additional experienced BOP Surveyors to support inspection, verification and rig intake projects across Australia and the wider region, in line with growing demand.

Role n

The BOP Surveyor will provide independent assurance of well control equipment, supporting safe and compliant drilling operations.

Responsibilities include:

n

- Inspection and verification of BOP systems and associated equipment
n
- Review of maintenance systems, certification and technical documentation
n
- Witnessing and verification of function and pressure testing
n
- Support to rig intake, commissioning and operational assurance scopes
n
- Identification and reporting of equipment condition and integrity issues
n
- Preparation of daily reports and final client deliverables
n
- Liaison with offshore and onshore personnel as an independent representative
n

Requirements nn




- Proven experience working with BOP systems within drilling operations
n
- Strong understanding of BOP components, control systems, and testing practices
n
- Experience reviewing maintenance records and certification documentation
n
- Background with a drilling contractor, OEM, or inspection/service provider
n
- Strong reporting skills and attention to detail
n
- Willingness to travel across Australia and internationally
n

Relevant industry training and previous surveyor or inspection experience are preferred.
