The Role n

As a Fabricator at Steel Builders, you’ll be an integral part of our production team, helping to bring our steel designs to life.

Key Responsibilities: n

n
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings and work orders
n
- Cut and assemble steel components to specification
n
- Perform welds to meet the required specifications for each order
n
- Work collaboratively with workshop and drafting teams to maintain productive production flow
n
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work area
n
- Assist with other tasks as required
n

About You nn
- Experience in steel fabrication or metalwork (structural steel experience preferred)
n
- Confident in reading and interpreting drawings and fabrication details
n
- Competent in MIG (certifications or trade qualification highly regarded)
n
- Competent in MMA (Stick welding) (certifications advantageous)
n
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
n
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to safe work practices
n
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Forklift/Combi lift experience (advantageous)
n
