nReporting directly to the Principal Electrical Engineer, this is a senior technical role focused on secondary substation design across 66kV to 500kV projects, including protection and control, relay coordination, SCADA/RTU integration and protection logic.n

Key Responsibilitiesn
n
n
- Lead secondary design across HV substations from 66kV to 500kV
n
- Develop protection and control schemes, relay coordination and protection philosophies
n
- Deliver SCADA/RTU integration, interlocking and protection logic
n
- Lead design verification, technical reviews and engineering sign off
n
- Support commissioning and troubleshoot complex technical issues
n
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers
n
Minimum Experiencen
n
n
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
n
- 10+ years’ electrical engineering experience
n
- Strong substation secondary design experience
n
- Protection, control, SCADA and relay coordination capability
n
- Strong understanding of Australian Standards and NSP requirements
n
- CPEng with Engineers Australia
n
- Experience checking and signing off complex designs
