Freedom Motors is Australia's leading modifier of wheelchair accessible vehicles and has been around for over 25 years. We are looking for a highly motivated and reliable full-time permanent Automotive Accessories Installer for our team in St Marys, New South Wales.

We are seeking a qualified Automotive Accessories Installer to join our growing team. You will gain outstanding job satisfaction in a rewarding role, helping our customers in the disability sector achieve their goals and dreams to access their community.
Job Task Responsibility: n
n
- Hands-on experience working with modified vehicles and other mobility products
n
- Install mechanical and electrical mobility accessories such as wheelchair hoists, lifters, automatic steps, wheelchair docking systems, restraint systems, driving controls, winches, and other related products
n
- Perform auto electrical work and wiring for vehicles modified for wheelchair access
n
- Diagnose, identify, and solve faults, damage, or quality issues
n
- Conduct servicing, repairs, and general maintenance on modified vehicles, buses and mobility products
n
- Work efficiently to meet deadlines
n
- Ability to work independently in a workshop setting
n
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
n
- Assist with other tasks as required
n

About You: nn
- Hold a Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology (or equivalent)
n
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred
n
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
n
- Ability to work autonomously and on a schedule
n
- Must be able to read and interpret assembly manuals.
n
- Takes pride in producing quality workmanship, with attention to detail.
n
- Maintain high standards of honesty, integrity and professionalism.
n
Must Have Requirements: nn
- Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
n
- Australian permanent residency or citizenship is required for this position.
n
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
