Vitalis is recruiting an Emergency Medicine Registrar on behalf of a public health service in regional Victoria.

This opportunity offers varied clinical experience within a regional Emergency Department, working alongside Emergency Consultants and a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

The opportunity

Under consultant supervision, you will assess and manage patients presenting to the Emergency Department, supporting secure treatment, referral, admission and discharge.

You will also contribute to departmental education, clinical audits and the teaching of medical students,



while maintaining effective communication with patients, families and colleagues.

About you

- Current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner.
- At least three years’ postgraduate medical experience.
- Experience assessing and managing critically ill patients.
- Strong communication, organisational and clinical decision-making skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively and independently under appropriate supervision.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and compassionate, patient-centred care.
