Sheet Metal Worker - Apprentice - Blacktown n

A small stainless steel fabrication business in Blacktown iscurrently seeking a Junior Sheet Metal Apprentice to join theirfacility.

Position Overview:-

n

This is a fantastic prospect to kick-start your career in sheet metal fabrication.

n

As an Apprentice, you will receive full comprehensive, hands-on training in all aspects of stainless steel fabrication while working alongside experienced tradespeople. This apprenticeship includes fully supported TAFE training to achieve your trade qualification.

n

You will learn the following :-

n

n
- The fabrication techniques for stainless steel products such as kitchen benches, range hoods, and custom items
n
- How to read and interpret drawings and plans
n
- How to operate and maintain workshop machinery
n
- Measuring, folding , welding and laser cutting stainless steel
n
- Learning workplace health and safety guidelines
n
- General workshop duties,



including how to keep the work area clean and organised
n

n

Your experience, skill set and qualifications will include:-

n

n
- Minimum Year 10 school certificate with above average achievement of Mathematics
n
- Must have a willingness to learn, take direction , be reliability with a strong work ethic
n
- Must have a minimum of a driver's learner'spermit and proof of currently learning to drive.
n

n

Location:- Blacktown
Position Type:- Permanent, Permanent Residency required
