Primary Objective

Business Development will be responsible for identifying, creating, and pursuing new business opportunities to grow Omega Chemicals’ market share in the chemical transportation and distribution sector. This role involves managing client relationships, collaborating with internal teams to meet client needs, and developing strategies to achieve company sales targets. The ideal candidate understands the chemical industry and a track record in sales and business development.

Key Performance Indicators include growing the client base and achieving acquisitions and mergers targets.

What we’re looking for

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Chemistry or related (preferred but not essential).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in business development, sales, or related role.
- Proven track record of delivering business growth.
- Robust understanding of B2B sales.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel as required.
- Strategic thinker with ability to analyse data and market trends.
- Self-starter with ability to work independently and in a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Full Australian working rights are required for this position.
