nAbout the Role n

The Everlast Group is seeking an experienced Commercial Joinery Estimator to join our team in Emu Plains.

n
n

We specialise in the manufacture and installation of high-quality commercial joinery and are looking for a detail-oriented estimator who can accurately price projects, interpret drawings and specifications, and work closely with our project and production teams.

n
n

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with robust commercial joinery estimating experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to be part of a growing business.

nKey Responsibilities n
n

- n

Review architectural drawings, plans, specifications and project documentation

n
n
- n

Prepare accurate and competitive estimates and quotations for commercial joinery projects

n
n
- n

Complete detailed material, hardware, labour and installation take-offs

n
n
- n

Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor pricing

n
n
- n

Identify project requirements, exclusions, variations and potential cost risks

n
n
- n

Liaise with suppliers, clients, builders, architects and internal teams

n
n
- n

Prepare tender submissions and pricing schedules

n
n
- n

Work with the production and project management teams to ensure accurate handover of awarded projects

n
n
- n

Maintain estimating records and pricing databases

n
n
- n





Assist with value engineering and cost-saving opportunities where appropriate

n
n
- n

Manage multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously

n
n

n

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- n

Previous experience estimating commercial joinery projects

n
n
- n

Strong understanding of joinery construction, materials, hardware and manufacturing processes

n
n
- n

Ability to accurately read and interpret architectural and joinery drawings

n
n
- n

Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy

n
n
- n

Strong knowledge of labour, material and installation costs

n
n
- n

Ability to prepare detailed take-offs and quotations

n
n
- n

Good communication and negotiation skills

n
n
- n

Strong organisational and time-management skills

n
n
- n

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

n
n
- n

Proficiency with estimating, Excel and relevant construction/joinery software

n
n
- n

A proactive approach and the ability to meet tight tender deadlines
